Letters of Redemption
Authentic, Christ-centered ministry is epitomized in Paul’s work - and yet, he was still slandered and doubted. Paul pursues the Christians in Corinth, not by boasting of himself, but by appealing to their own lives. The transformation by the Holy Spirit in these individuals validated Paul’s ministry - and so it is for all ministers of God’s Word.

Jun 30, 2019Mere PeddlersIt is a privilege and an honor to minister in the name of Christ. No person, in themself, is sufficient to preach the Word of God, so we must do so with great fear and humility. However, there are always false teachers we need to be aware of who seek to use the gospel to exalt themselves and deceive others.

Jun 16, 2019Confronting Unbelief With The TruthIn John’s gospel, Jesus time and again reveals the ugly reality of the Pharisees’ false religion. His response is always to plainly tell the truth, as well as offer hope. And no matter how much people may reject or revile us, we must do the same.

Jun 2, 2019God of Life, Culture of DeathBy: Luke GriffoSeries: (All)As our culture continues along its course of rejection and hatred of God, it is becoming more and more apparent that we are a culture in love with death. As Christians, we must confront this culture on every front, especially in preaching the gospel of life, which transforms hearts.
- May 26, 2019Yes, You Can Know
May 26, 2019Yes, You Can KnowEvery Christian struggles at times with assurance; in John 8, Jesus teaches us that we can be certain of our salvation. We are called to abide in Christ, to be absolutely anchored in him alone. When we do this, we are freed from the enslavement and guilt of sin. So we must examine ourselves; do we manifest the obedience, repentance, and freedom that accompany abiding in Christ.

May 19, 2019The Light of the WorldBy declaring himself to be the light of the world, Jesus makes an exclusive claim as the way of salvation. The true light exposes the sinful heart, and so man often twists Christianity into a false religion. However, anything apart from Christ is darkness, no matter how it may appear.
