It’s crucial to have leaders who are not afraid to discuss hard teachings and controversial topics, while avoiding a passive-aggressive or overly provocative approach. Those devoted to sound doctrine will prioritize seeking obedience and conforming their lives to the word of God. It’s time we ensure that our leaders are focused on teaching us what we need to know, not just what we want to hear.
